If you want to spend your summer swimming and sunbathing, but you’d also like to learn about the history of ancient civilizations, the Greek islands are right up your street! Venetian and Frankish castles can be found in Zakynthos and Corfu in the Ionian Sea, and in Paros and Rhodes in the Aegean.
