From soaking up the wondrous ancient history of Athens to taking in the incredible art of Rome, you’ll spend these two weeks (or 14 days and 13 nights) exploring the best of what Italy and Greece have to offer. From ancient palaces to freshly cooked pasta, this trip will provide the ultimate feast for all your senses.

Athens
Your trip begins in the glorious city of Athens, and we will send you to a luxurious hotel in the heart of town.
Enjoy your first night however you like. The next morning, you will head off for a magical mythology tour, where you will learn the incredible stories behind the majestic ruins of the Acropolis. You will also learn more about the history behind the mythology at the Acropolis Museum.
On day 3, we will take you on an exciting day trip to Epidaurus and Nafplio.
At Epidaurus, discover the Sanctuary of Asclepius and the ancient theatre that put this historic town on the (UNESCO World Heritage Site) map.
At Nafplio, marvel at this city's unique architecture and design that survived under multiple flags until it became the second capital of the First Hellenic Republic in 1827.

Crete: Chania & Heraklion
On the fourth day, you will fly to Crete and settle down at your charmingly chic hotel in the city of Chania.
The next day, we’ll send you off on an incredible tour of 7 nearby traditional Cretan villages, and then you can enjoy one more night in the town of Chania.
On day 6, you will head over to the historic city of Heraklion, and we will have a room ready for you at an amazing hotel in town. While you’re here, you will have a tour of the incredible Knossos Palace and the nearby museum.
Knossos Palace is Crete’s largest Bronze Age archaeological site. It may be Europe’s oldest city, and you will see for yourselves some of the remarkable legacy of the ancient Minoan civilization who once called this island home.

Athens
On the seventh day, you will fly back to Athens and take a special evening tour to discover more of the highlights of this dazzling city.
You will see everything from the ancient grandeur of the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Arch of Hadrian to the contemporary beauty of Syntagma Square and Amalias Avenue.
Of course, we will provide an authentically tasty Greek mezedes dinner at the end of the tour.

Venice
The following morning, you will fly from Athens to Venice. You’ll enjoy top-notch accommodation at a fantastic hotel, and you’ll embark on a glorious sunset cruise on a gondola. Take in all the romantic beauty of the Venetian sunset as you sail through the city’s iconic canals!
On day 9, you will head out for an amazing tour of Venice, including stops at St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace.
Whether you’re here for the remarkable history, the incredible art, the delectable gastronomy, or simply the uniquely cool vibes of this special city, this tour will let you experience it all and so much more!

Rome
On the tenth day, you will have a ticket to ride, and you can sit back and relax on the train as you make your way to Rome.
When you arrive in 'The Eternal City,' we will take you to a fabulous hotel in the heart of town.
Once you check in and get yourself situated at the hotel, we will send you to your own private cooking class in the city! You will learn how to make authentic Roman-style pasta and dine with one of Rome’s best chefs.
The next morning, you will take the ultimate tour of Rome. You will visit the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps.
And if that doesn’t sound enticing enough, we will also make sure you have the opportunity to taste some real Roman pizza!
On day 12, you will enjoy the ultimate VIP experience with a special Vatican City tour. You will visit the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and even St. Peter’s Basilica!
Come for the classic art, stay for the deeply spiritual beauty, and leave with a deeper understanding of this special place.
For your final full day in Italy, we have a great day trip planned just for you. You’ll have a private transfer to Pompeii, where you will tour the ancient ruins that continue to capture the world’s attention to this day.
You will also have lunch at a local winery where you can taste the bountiful harvests of this special place while taking in the panoramic views of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius.
Once you’re done in Pompeii, we’ll take you back to Rome for one more incredible night in the city.

Departure
As much as we’d love to keep you trekking across Italy and Greece, it’s time to wrap up this amazing vacation. We will finish this trip with a private car transfer to the airport, and you should have plenty of time to catch your flight(s) back home.
Once you arrive home, feel free to tell your friends and family how you were able to see and do it all with us!
