Set up in a historic building on the Amalfi coast, in the center of Ravello, Palazzo Confalone is a beautiful property.
All of the rooms are uniquely decorated and offer panoramic views of the town and the sea. Depending on the room that you go for, you may find yourself surrounded by antiques from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries.
The rooms of the hotel are split between two buildings on the property. The first is a 12th-century palazzo, and the other is the more contemporary “Casa Palumbo.”
You can find rooms that are as small as 220 square feet and as large as 600 square feet. Many of the rooms have whirlpool bathtubs, where guests can relax after a long day.
Entering the lobby, guests are impressed by the terracotta tile floors and the lush plants hanging from the arches. The lobby is tastefully furnished to complement the tile floors.
The elegant feeling is further enhanced by the ivy climbing the stairs and the exterior of the building. The pathways are lined with trees, and climbing rose walls decorate the outside of the hotel with exquisite taste.
Guests may go on the patio where they can relax under the ivy-covered thatched roofs, on chairs, wicker loveseats, and other pieces of outdoor furniture. The view of the sea is wonderful from the gardens, but some spots may also offer a wonderful panorama of the city.
