Golden Days in Italy: A Sunlit Summer Romance in Rome, Amalfi & Sicily

Though you’ll have to bid arrivederci (or, “Until we meet again,” in Italian) to Rome, we promise you will thoroughly enjoy the next leg of your trip!

On the fourth day, we will ensure a safe and comfortable train and car transfer to the incredibly beautiful Amalfi Coast.

On day 5, you’ll set sail to the world-famous island of Capri, an island that’s served as the ultimate resort destination for the rich and famous since the Roman imperial era.

We’ll take you on a full tour of the chic town of Capri and the picturesque countryside of Anacapri.

On the sixth day, the choice is yours. Feel free to rest and relax at your luxury hotel or spend the day exploring the unique charm of the Amalfi coast, its gorgeous beaches, and its lovely villages.

On the seventh day, you’ll hop on the plane for a quick flight south to Sicily. From there, we’ll set you up at a fantastic hotel in Palermo.

The next morning, you’ll embark on an incredible guided tour of Monreale, where you can check out the historical Norman-Byzantine town cathedral that’s part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

For day 9, we’ll arrange for your own private car transfer to Cefalù, where you can explore more of the region’s UNESCO World Heritage Site and take in some exceptional coastal views.

From there, we’ll whisk you away to Taormina and provide you with your own luxurious accommodation in the 'Pearl of the Mediterranean.'

The next day, we’ll send you on an epic tour of the gorgeous town of Taormina and show you why it’s become such a desirable destination for discerning travelers.

Later on, you will embark on a magical hike up Mount Etna. It may be one of the world’s most active volcanoes, but we’ll ensure a safe journey for you as you enjoy some of the best views in all of Sicily! 

On day 11, you’ll head south to Noto via private car, where you will discover magnificent Baroque-era architecture, including (but not limited to the stunning Noto Cathedral.

From Noto, you will continue on (via private car) to Syracuse, where you will find top-tier accommodation at one more incredible boutique hotel. 

For our last full day in Italy, you will take a guided city tour of Syracuse. Marvel at the ancient ruins that comprise the present-day Neapolis Archaeological Park, feel the incredible energy at the historic Cathedral of Syracuse and the nearby landmarks of the historic island of Ortygia and discover the ancient catacombs that lie below.

If all this walking leads to you building quite the appetite, fear not, because we’ll also send you to some of the hottest and tastiest restaurants in town! 

To finish this momentous journey through Italy, we will provide a private car transfer and ensure your timely arrival at the airport for your flight(s) back home.
