Overview

People looking for 19th-century Venetian design often stop at Hotel Moresco, a warm and inviting boutique hotel in Venice. Only a short walk away from Piazzale Roma, this hotel features elegant and classic décor perfectly mixed with contemporary elements.  It is a luxurious mix of old and new elements, bringing forward the Venetian romance.

Hotel Moresco is located off the beaten track, which means that it’s tranquil compared to other establishments located in the center. Guests may listen to the birds chirping as they are enjoying their morning coffee on the terrace. The balconies and terraces on the premises all have amazing views, depending on where the room is facing.

While the boutique itself is small, all 23 rooms are very spacious and inviting. The private bathrooms have modern furniture and all of the amenities have been arranged for. Some of the rooms have their own terrace for you to lounge in, whereas others come with a spa bathtub. Should guests decide that they want to rest for the day, they can retreat to their rooms, which have all been soundproofed for a perfect sleep.

Continental buffet breakfasts are provided every day, and guests can enjoy them in the dining hall. A bar area has also been arranged, where guests can have a tasty cocktail during a relaxing evening. There is also an outdoor garden on the property for you to have a soothing day among the greenery.

Why we love it

Some of the rooms have their own terraces or spa bathtubs, ensuring ultimate comfort.

The exceptional breakfast can accommodate special diets, upon request.

The hotel also features a garden where guests may relax on a warm day, enjoying the smell of flowers or the sight of green beauty.

It is close to various tourist points, along with entertainment areas such as golf courses and libraries.

In and around

Hotel Moresco is situated near the bus terminal in Venice, on a small canal. Therefore, even if you are not in the heart of Venice, there are still plenty of transportation options that can take you wherever you want. Guests may start their day at the hotel bar or lounge area, after which they may begin visiting the city.

Papadopoli is only a few minutes away from the hotel, as is the Constitution Bridge. Grassi Palace is about 5 minutes away, and so is the Accademia Bridge. If you are in the mood for artwork, you may visit the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, which is about 10 minutes away.

Slightly farther but still within walking distance, you may find other Venice attractions. Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco are less than 15 minutes away, and the Bridge of Sighs is only 20 minutes away by foot. You may rent a gondola and reach all of these places much faster.
