On day 3, you will leave Taormina and head towards your next adventure.

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Syracuse as you enjoy scenic views of the Sicilian landscape, surrounded by hills on one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other. 

On your fourth day, we have arranged a unique tour for you to explore Noto, Modica, and Ragusa Ibla.

These three are wonderful examples of the Late Baroque Towns of the Val di Noto, which have been declared UNESCO heritage sites.

After meeting your driver at your location in Syracuse, you’ll be setting your course towards the captivating Ragusa Ibla.

A guide will help you to explore the historic heart of the town, a realm of undisputed Baroque art.

Here, you'll be greeted by numerous eighteenth-century churches, majestic buildings, and lush gardens.

Soon after, prepare your senses for tasting the delicious local chocolate in the baroque town of Modica.

Our journey then unfolds to Noto, a once very prosperous town as it was the capital of one of Sicily's three districts.

Are you ready to discover what it is that makes Sicilian cuisine so famous? On day 5, we arranged a cooking class in Ortygia, starting off with an exploration of the Old Open-Air Marketplace at the heart of the historical center of the city of Syracuse.

Brace yourself for a unique experience as you walk through vibrant stalls and listen to the local vendors calling you for attention!

Accompanied by the chef, you will carefully choose the best ingredients to cook a typical dish of the Sicilian tradition.

You will then visit the kitchen that is located within a close distance, where you will start preparing your dish. What could be more satisfying than savoring the meal you've personally crafted?

On day 5, one of our drivers will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport in Catania. There, you will catch a flight to mainland Italy and the captivating city of Naples!

Upon arrival at the airport, our driver will take you to your hotel, where you can relax until the next day’s exploration of a city lost in time.

Exploring the ancient streets of Pompeii can be a challenge, so we have optimized your visit by having an expert archaeologist guide accompany you.

Your guide will take you to the Roman Forum and guide you through the Ancient Romans' daily lives, from their culinary preferences to leisure activities and their misconceptions about what caused the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

Private homes, such as the renowned House of the Vettii, as well as the plaster casts of the victims of the eruption will fascinate you.

With the help of your guide, Pompeii will emerge as a still living, breathing city. 

It is now time to explore the other side of the coast!

You will embark on a car transfer from Naples to Puglia, and as you travel through the Italian countryside, be prepared for breathtaking views of rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards, and all that awaits you in the next few days.

Puglia is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, including the iconic trulli houses that dot the countryside.

On day 8, you will explore Matera and the picturesque village of Alberobello, immersing yourself in the authentic character of these settlements.

After being picked up from your hotel in Puglia, you will have time to relax inside your comfortable vehicle and enjoy the scenic views of the Puglian countryside along the way.

In Matera, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, we have arranged a guided tour for you to discover dwellings carved into the limestone rock that create a mesmerizing urban landscape.

Your guide will lead participants through narrow alleyways and cave churches so you see and understand everything about the city's spiritual heritage.

Your next stop is Alberobello, where, together with your guide, you will go through its narrow streets adorned with fairy-tale-like trulli huts and learn about their history.

The visit to these unique towns will leave you with a personal insight into the architecture and lifestyle of the past.

It's time to leave Puglia for the Eternal City, Rome.

Our driver will pick you up in the morning, and as you leave Puglia behind, the landscape will mainly consist of rolling hills and farmland.

The drive will offer glimpses of the Italian countryside, and when you finally reach your hotel in Rome, you can spend your evening resting and preparing for tomorrow's adventure. 

On day 10, get ready for an insightful and entertaining journey through the heart of ancient Rome.

Your expert local guide will take you to the Colosseum and help you uncover fascinating stories of the gladiator games.

From mass executions to extravagant animal hunts and murder plots full of political intrigue, the Colosseum's history is so fascinating that it will never leave you bored.

You will also venture further back in time with Palatine Hill, the birthplace of Rome, according to a popular myth. 

On your last full day in Italy, you will embark on an exploration of the Vatican. A visit to the Vatican can often be chaotic, as it is sometimes a challenge to skip the crowds and decode the art, architecture, and history that make it one of the world's top attractions.

For that reason, we have arranged for you the perfect guide who will set the right tone for an entertaining journey ahead!

You'll start in the Vatican Museums, where you’ll walk past all the masterpieces, including the ancient sculpture that inspired Michelangelo's depiction of God in the Sistine Chapel and the rooms painted by the Master artist Raphael, while your guide shares intriguing anecdotes and fascinating facts about the Vatican's rich history.

The highlight is, of course, the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo's towering frescoes and the awe-inspiring St. Peter's Basilica.
