Cycladic Romance: 13-Day trip to Athens, Milos, Folegandros & Santorini

The next day, it’s time to delve into the Greek islands, the ultimate element of Greece.

In the morning, you’ll get transferred by your private, luxury vehicle to Athens airport to catch a flight to your first destination: Milos, one of the most exotic and impressive islands of the Cyclades!

Once you reach the island, let us drive you to your hotel in Pollonia, a charming fishing village where you can relax for the day.

For day 4, a private archaeological and cultural experience is waiting for you! Discover the history, local culture, and traditions of the island with your local guide.

During this tour, you’ll get the chance to visit some of the major sites of the island: the ancient theatre of Milos; the mysterious Catacombs; two of the most scenic fisherman’s villages on the island, Klima & Mandrakia; Plaka, the capital of Milos and the famous beach of Sarakiniko with its moon-like landscape! 

Day 5 is a day of rest for you. Enjoy a relaxing day at one of the many amazing beaches with their crystal clear, emerald green waters, or explore the variety of gorgeous landscapes the island has to offer, caused by the volcanic eruption in ancient years.

It’s time to continue your traveling. With your personal driver, get to Milos port to take the ferry and head to your next destination: Folegandros, a small island that provides great calmness and joy to whoever visits it!

When you arrive at Folegandros port, get transferred to your hotel and take the day for yourselves. 

On day 7, join your local guide on a tour of the island and its most famous sights.

Marvel the spectacular panoramic view from the church of Panagia; Walk around the castle of Chora and feel like stepping back into another era; Learn about the inhabitants’ daily life and enjoy local flavors at a traditional grocery where an old lady cooks for you. Surely, a day to remember

The next day is free for you to explore the island at your own pace. Spend the day at one of the lovely pebbly beaches and share memorable moments with your partner.

In the evening, take a romantic stroll along the narrow streets of Chora, the main village with its whitewashed houses with multi-colored doors and windows.

Don’t forget to try one of the local delights, such as the ‘matsata’ (handmade noodles with rooster or rabbit), ‘souroto’ (white goat cheese), or ‘karpouzenia’ (a local sweet made of fried watermelon), and taste some local wine. 

The next morning, your driver will take you to the port of Folegandros for you to catch the ferry to the last stop of your amazing trip, none other than the famous island of Santorini!

Upon your arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel with a luxury vehicle, where you can spend the day at your own leisure.

On day 10, travel around the island with your personal guide and relish its beauty on a full-day tour just for you!

Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea from the iconic ‘caldera’; Gain insight into the island’s ancient history with a visit to the Akrotiri Excavations; Stroll around the postcard-perfect village of Oia and if you feel like it, visit a traditional Santorini winery to sample 4 different types of local wine.

Santorini, also known as Thira, is still an active volcano and no matter where you choose to spend your free day - at a beach with its white, red, black sand or volcanic pebbles or in one of the island’s towns (Fira, Oia, Imerovigli, and Firostefani) which offers an amazing view of the volcano and enthralling sunset views - one thing is certain: you will get dazzled by this unique island and eventually fall in love with it!

For the penultimate day, a half-day sailing trip is due! Hop on your semi-private Santorini cruise and sail across the most beautiful parts of the coastline.
