Our guide Penelope was extremely knowledgeable, and gave us a fascinating insight into Athenian culture and history. She was energetic and friendly, and didn't miss a thing. There was a little drizzle on the night, but it didn't dampen our spirits. The food at the end of the evening was delicious. What else could I ask for?
We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Penelope. She was warm, patient and so very knowledgeable about everything on our tour. She gave us a very enlightening history of the city of Athens and Greek history. This brought it to life for us and made us want to come back again.
We went on the night crawlers private walking tour the night we arrived in Athens. The weather was very comfortable for walking. Our guide, Penelope is an archeologist by trade. She was so passionate about the history of the area and the country. We strolled through the old city area accompanied with her detailed and fun explanations on Ancient Greek history. We were so glad to have this tour to kick off our vacation in Athens. At the end of the tour, we had an amazing meze dinner at Bandiera. totally recommend for anyone who enjoys walking in the old city and wants to learn a bit of Athens history!
What an enjoyable evening! We had a great tour around Athens at a perfect pace. Since it was off-season, it was only my wife and I and our guide, and she was very knowledgeable, fun, engaging and the choice for dinner was superb! I would definitely recommend this tour, especially at night when the illuminated city of Athens is quite breathtaking. Thank you once again. Steve & Jimi-- California, USA
We did an evening walking tour through several neighborhoods, concluding with dinner. Our guide Elena knew so much about the history and architecture, she made a short visit to Athens very memorable. We would’ve missed so many of the spots she showed us had we tried to walk on our own. We booked at the last minute and we (family of 4) were so glad we did. We all agreed we wouldn’t have liked Athens as much had we not spent the evening on this tour. It was especially nice that we did the private tour, so it was just our family and we could go at our own pace, faster or slower depending on what we wanted to see. The dinner she took us to was excellent as well and very accommodating for vegans.
Our guide, Illias, was amazing and gave such depth to the tour with interesting historical facts and insights. We learned so much about Athens. We explored many wonderful neighbourhoods and plenty of time for photos. The smaller group meant a more personal touch. Our dinner was in Syntagma and the food and wine was exceptional. Would highly recommend x
Highly recommend this tour! Eleni was so knowledgable of the Athens history and different sites. She was so friendly and we had a wonderful meal after our tour. Definitely do this tour well worth it!
We had a very good experience with Eleni, who was very knowlegeable about the area as well as the monuments and their history. We walked around the main areas and saw all the interesting sights and ended up with a meze dinner at a local restaurant with traditional food (even though we were vegetarians we had good choices). All in all, felt it was an ideal complement to the acropolis visit (which we had done earlier), to cover interesting spots around Athens.
We had an amazing time with Eleni ! She shared her passion and knowledge with us. We were so glad to have this wonderful hours with her. An amazing experience with her. We can’t believe how much we learnt about your beautiful city and culture. Opaaa !
A tour guide named Ms.Penelope led us to walk around and to see many beautiful spots while telling us related knowledge including history. After walking tour, we enjoyed greek delicious food as well. It was great.
