Day 1

Welcome to Greece!

As soon as you arrive in Athens, you’ll be welcomed by our professional driver who’ll take you to your hotel in the comfort of a luxury vehicle. Check-in, freshen up and prepare for your first taste of Greece: a 2-hour Athens orientation tour followed by a welcome dinner

Get introduced to the historic Greek capital by setting on an exploration of its highlight spots and landmarks. Starting from the emblematic Syntagma Square, meet with your local guide who’ll be your best friend for the evening. Find yourself before the commanding Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Arch of Hadrian as your guide narrates stories of the city’s rich heritage.

Visit Plaka, Athens’ most scenic neighborhood and let its old-time charm bewitch you. Soon you’ll be led to the Tower of the Winds, where you’ll get to admire a view of the Roman Agora and the regal Acropolis under the sparkling night lights.

Next up is the colorful Monastiraki Square. Learn about the square’s monuments, including Hadrian’s Library, and the Tzistarakis Mosque, and walk down Adrianou Str. to observe the Ancient Market and the Stoa of Attalos

Your last stop will find you in the hip neighborhood of Psirri. Wander around its busy alleys, full of traditional taverns, alternative bars, and cozy cafes, before enjoying a traditional ‘meze’ dinner in a local-beloved tavern. Drink traditional Greek liquors or wine, and savor authentic Greek dishes surrounded by friendly locals. Who thought you could tick off so many places from your bucket list on your first day in Athens?
