What you can expect?

Your day starts by hopping on a modern vehicle and traveling in comfort and luxury. Your first stop will be at the Corinth Canal, known as the ‘Isthmus of Corinth’, an impressive narrow land bridge that connects the Peloponnese with the rest of the mainland. There, you will have enough to stretch your legs and snap as many pictures as you want to commemorate your unique experience and the impressive landmark that lies before you, while your licensed guide will let you know everything you need to know with the regions' history and its connection to the Percy Jackson saga.

After a refreshing break, you will drive to Epidaurus, a UNESCO heritage site, and the birthplace of medicine. This is where Piper, Leo, and Jason meet Asklepios, the demigod of Medicine who called Epidaurus his home. Together with your specialized family guide, you will visit the famous Ancient Theatre, the Temples of Artemis and Asklepios, the Tholos, the Propylaia, the baths, as well as the ancient sport and hospital facilities. Get to know how ancient Greeks combined the healing process with the concept of theater and check the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus from up close. It is one of the best-preserved ancient theatres in the world, a modern miracle world-famous for its acoustics!

Moving on, you will find yourselves at Nafplion, one of the most picturesque waterfront towns in Greece. Your guide will lead you to the Venetian fortress of Palamidi and show you on your way a sleeping lion! Wander around the historic town and point out beautiful neoclassical houses and historic Greek Orthodox churches. Stroll through the picturesque alleyways of the first capital of modern Greece and feel like you have gone back in time!  Choose to end your day in Nafplion with some local delicacies in a traditional restaurant and a handmade ice cream to keep you going!

Some of the spots you are going to visit:

The ancient open Theatre of Epidaurus dates back to 4th century BC and is located in the lush hills of the Peloponnese, just a 30-minute drive from the Saronic Gulf. This is one of the many UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Greece but is undeniably unique for a multitude of reasons. It is argued that the Theatre of Epidaurus is the grandest and best preserved in all of Greece, making it a must-see for travellers who come to Athens (Epidaurus is only 2 hours away from Athens!).
