12-Day Family Trip to Athens, Paros and Chania

The 5th day of your trip will find you being transported to Athens International Airport to catch your 40-minute flight to one of the most popular Greek islands, Paros.

After arriving in Paros, you’ll have the rest of the day at your disposal to let your kids get acquainted with their surroundings, relax, or even take your family on an adventure of your choice. 

On day 6, you’ll enjoy a private transfer to Psilo Livadi Port, from where you'll embark on our 'Paros and Small Cyclades Full-Day Sailing Trip'.

On this 10-hour sailing trip, you and your family will explore Paros and the shimmering blue waters of the Aegean Sea.

Dive into the location of a WWII-wrecked plane on your way to Iraklia, and let your kids get enchanted by the mystical setting.

Sail around Schoinousa, Koufonissia, the south Naxos, Antiparos, and Despotiko, and savor a delicious lunch full of local delicacies prepared by the hospitable crew onboard. 

Alternatively, you can opt for our family 'Paros cycling tour'. This 2.5-hour bike and hike tour will help you explore the cosmopolitan island with an experienced instructor and the vibrant region of Naoussa as your starting point. 

On day 7, you can enjoy all the free time you need with your family. We highly suggest you indulge in a swimming day at the popular beach of Kolymbithres.

Upon request, we can arrange for you to be transferred directly from your hotel to Kolymbithres Beach, while we can also book lunch and sunbeds to save you the trouble.

What can be more relaxing and family-oriented than a day spent at the beach?

The 8th day of your trip will consist of you being taking to Paros’ port to board the ferry to Crete and the region of Chania in specific.

As with all days including long hours of transportation, after you arrive in Chania the rest of the day will be free for you to take it easy.

The 9th day of your family trip will be the most luxurious yet, as it will include a Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa island cruise. Lie on the deck and take in your gorgeous surroundings as you sail across the shimmering waters of the Aegean Sea.

Your kids will have the opportunity to engage in diving games in the clearest water you’ve ever experienced, while you can savor Cretan delicacies throughout the experience.

The following day, you will have a free day in Chania to spend with your loved ones without the pressure of following a schedule.

If you want to do more than lay on the beach all day long, we’d highly suggest you try a 2-hour Stand-Up Paddleboard and Snorkelling Small Group Tour that will keep you and your kid busy for hours!

The penultimate day of your trip will grant you a day trip to 7 Cretan Traditional Villages.

There, you’ll be able to experience an authentic side of the popular island, learn about its customs and traditions, and gain insight into its local culture and everyday life.

On day 12, it’s time to head back to Athens rich in knowledge and experiences.
